Bridge LifeGroups is a place to step into intentional relationships, explore biblical truth, and, with God's help, turn knowing what to do into doing what you know — together with people who have the same desire to grow deeper in their faith and daily relationship with Jesus.
Bridge LifeGroups (Winter Session)
Serving God and His church is something most of us know we ought to do. But often it's not particularly an aspect of the Christian life we want to do. Many of us are wary of serving. Some of us don't think we have anything much to offer.
Discover how you can enjoy serving and being served as part of your church. Find fresh motivation in seeing how Jesus serves you and loves you. And learn how to identify the gifts God has given you and how you can use them to make a difference to those around you--whoever you are.
Bridge LifeGroups (Family Edition)
Learn How To Organize Your Home Life and Keep Christ and the Gospel At The Center of Your Focus In The Daily Chaos of Raising Kids
Parenting happens in habits. We make meals, get in cars, answer questions, discipline, and do bedtime.
As we go through the book "Habits of the Household" and dig into God's Word together, we will learn how these ordinary routines are extraordinary opportunities to live out the love of God in profound ways.
You will find the tools you need for parenting, and discover spiritual meaning in otherwise mundane moments.
Beginning Sunday January 14th, we will meet monthly after our morning worship service; 12pm-1:30 pm
Next dates: Sunday February 11; Sunday March 24; Sunday April 21

Bridge LifeGroups FAQ

“Bridge LifeGroups” is the name of our small group ministry.

We have Bridge LifeGroups that meet on Sunday afternoons as well as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We also have a Ladies Bridge Group that meets at the church on Wednesday mornings.

We meet every 2nd week with our Bridge LifeGroup.

The fall season for Bridge LifeGroup begins the week of September 17th and ends the week of November 26th.

We meet in various host homes in the Whitby and Oshawa area.

Typically our Bridge LifeGroup meet for 1.5 hours.

What a joy to serve at The Bridge as the Director of Discipleship and to partner in ministry alongside my husband, Alan, as a pastor’s wife. We have been married for 40 years, have 3 married children and 6 grandchildren. Truly a homebody at heart, I enjoy slowing down at home with a good book and hot cup of tea, and making time to open our home to create memories with our sweet family and friends.
